Pre-Employment Drug Testing

The basic pre-employment drug test is a "Five-Screen" panel (or “NIDA-5” or “SAMHSA-5”), which tests for the following five drug types:

  1. Cannabinoids (Marijuana, Hashish)
  2. Cocaine (Cocaine, Crack, Benzoylecognine)
  3. Opiates (Heroin, Opium, Codeine, Morphine)
  4. Amphetamines (Amphetamines, Methamphetamines, Speed)
  5. Phencyclidine (PCP, Angel Dust)

A "Ten-Screen" panel drug test is also available, which tests for the above 5 drugs and the following additional five drugs:

  1. Barbituates (Phenobarbital, Secobarbitol, Pentobarbital, Butalbital, Amobarbital)
  2. Methaqualone (Qualuudes)
  3. Benzodiazepines (Tranquilizers-Diazepam, Valium, Librium, Ativan, Xanax, Clonopin, Serax, Halcion, Rohypnol)
  4. Methadone
  5. Propoxyphene (Darvon compounds)

Both the above drug screens can be performed as pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, and follow-up testing.

As a cost saving factor to you, with the assurance of valid screen results, each 5 or 10 panel urine drug screen is tested for adulterants at no additional cost at Employment Investigative Services!
