Long Term Contract Opportunity
Our Cleveland based client is seeking an application management focused professional!
*Please note: This opportunity is not eligible for Subcontract or Corp to Corp relationship.
HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
You will play a key role in understanding and proactively addressing current and future availability, capacity, and security needs of applications.
Collaborate with Enterprise Technology and Enterprise Architecture groups to design and implement infrastructure solutions.
Troubleshoot environment issues and prevent future occurrences.
Conduct impact assessment of upcoming infrastructure changes and collaborate with application teams to minimize risk.
Drive process and technology changes to improve quality and speed.

You possess a good blend of infrastructure technology and application development background.
You have a strong background in IIS.
Working knowledge of Information Security and Network Concepts.
You have scripting language experience.

-4+ years of experience supporting Windows 2008/12, IIS 7.x and .NET 4.x applications in a production environment.
-Strong IIS experience is required.
-Sound working knowledge of Information Security (LDAP, RBAC, Digital certificates) and Network concepts (Load balancing/ Failover, DNS, FTP, SMTP)
-Scripting knowledge: Experience in PowerShell (or similar scripting language) is required.
-Experience with automation/configuration management using DSC, Chef, or Puppet is a plus.
-Exposure to cloud services like AWS, Azure is a plus
-Application development background (C# or Java) is a plus.
*** U.S. Citizenship/Permanent Resident/Transfer of H1B Visa is required for most positions.
