Case 1: Filtration / Water Purification Company
This division acquired a new company. The previous company had a MOSS 2007 Server that was used for the sole purpose of hosting a custom built Project Management tool developed in .NET. We were responsible for upgrading the database from MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2013. We also upgraded, enhanced and refactored the custom built .NET solution.
Case 2: SharePoint Management
This company hosted a SharePoint Server that provided very secure legal documents to their biggest client. The site was accessed over the Internet using SSL and had more than 4000 sites. We were responsible for upgrading their SharePoint Server from MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2013. In the process we consolidated over 4000 sites to just over 500. We made use of content types so information wasn’t being published in multiple places and wrote a PowerShell script to replace an off the shelve program that was no longer supported in this version.
Case 3: SharePoint Migration
Two Major Manufacturing Companies partnered to launched a new joint venture. We were required to create new business systems and migrate existing SharePoint site data for the joint venture. Architecture, content migration and system administration efforts were approximately 4 months.
